OTHER PROJECTS
I like to stretch my creativity skills on other areas in the art world as it brings together all of my passions.
For flowers, I have done exhibitions in Art in Bloom (Milwaukee Art Museum) for a few years, and in Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA). I also did demonstration in State Fairs, Domes, and Kenosha Art Museum.
For homes, besides decorating for parade of homes, I also did commercial staging with knowledge of Feng Shui for offices and private homes.
For the community, I like to share my passion and knowledge to those who are interested. I took part in conducting classes and programs for clubs, societies, organizations and etc.

Designer Statement:
This arrangement is done in a cascading style. Different line materials and textures were carefully chosen to capture the essence of the gown. The container is artfully balanced to contribute interest, and the flowers add softness and elegant movement.

Designer Statement:
The flowers used here were chosen for their European feel in that era. The birch trees represent the tall buildings in the industrial areas. The glass container gives the feeling of water, while the willow arches represent the bridges. Components are beautifully arranged to capture the inspiration of this artwork.

Designer Statement:
This Ikebana arrangement welcomes the New Year with a full blast of good things coming your way. They are well represented by the auspicious plant materials such as pines (longevity), bamboo (strength) and white roses (serenity). The red birds are a sign of prosperity.
Alka Bhargava, my fellow Ichiyo master, and myself shared our passion of Ikebana doing a demonstration to the museum's public. The demonstration provided some ideas on holiday themed arrangements.

This Ikebana-style arrangement is guided by the principles and elements in this composition. The design uses line materials, the color of the flowers, the shape of the container, and the appreciation for the emptiness of space to harmonize the whole arrangement and express beauty.

Designer Statement:
This Ikebana style arrangement is designed to complement the Zen atmosphere of the Buddha's setting. The plant materials are carefully chosen for their meanings of serenity, strength, endurance, love and purity, charm beauty, and long life.
